Synopsis: The FCA's long-awaited formal guidance on non-financial misconduct takes effect on 1 September 2026 for firms subject to the Senior Managers and Certification Regime. It clarifies what conduct may breach the FCA’s Code of Conduct and result in individuals not being fit and proper, and it expands the scope of the Code for solo-regulated firms. Join our webinar to hear practical insights on what these changes mean for your firm and how to prepare. Designed for Legal, Compliance, Employment and HR professionals, this session will draw on perspectives from across our Employment and Investigations teams to explore what firms need to think about, and do differently, in time for the guidance coming into force on 1 September 2026. We will cover: • How to identify and manage potential breaches of the FCA's Code of Conduct under the new guidance. • What changes firms may need to make to their regulatory reference processes. • How to ensure your policies and procedures reflect the FCA's expectations on non-financial misconduct, particularly in light of the forthcoming upgrade of the duty to prevent sexual harassment to an ""all reasonable steps"" standard.
